I am endlessly curious about mysteries of ecological movement, and my artistic investigations venture towards an understanding of the present moment as a concert of complex interactions. Lots of things are changing quickly, just how quickly is climate change unfolding? I am fascinated and haunted by the premise that we do not comprehend the extent of our ecological impact, and my work struggles to visualize the limits of our understanding.

I was born in 1982 and grew up in Chapel Hill and Durham, NC. In 2012 I graduated with a MFA from SUNY-Buffalo, and received a BFA from UNC-CH in 2008. I am a drawer, painter and printmaker. Currently I teach at Austin Peay State University and Metro Parks Visual Arts. My work is represented by Pierre-François Ouellette Art Contemporain in Montreal. I live and work in Nashville, TN.
